Come fantasy cricket
Fantasy cricket is one of the four primary surfaces on Come. Match IDs, team lists and Yes/No multipliers are dynamic; the rules are static. Snapshot 2026-08-17.
How fantasy contests work on Come
Each contest is keyed to a real cricket fixture. Pick your team within the salary cap, lock before toss, and the points system settles based on the actual on-field performance. There is no second-chance mechanism; once the team is locked and the match starts, the only variable is the scorecard. The first-party app is the source of truth during a live fixture - live odds, in-play player scores and team-news changes are not republished on this profile.
What the snapshot publishes
- Match ID, team names and fixture start time (Asia/Kolkata by default).
- Prize pool size and entry fee for the contest.
- Yes/No multiplier presence and the supported stake range.
- Whether the contest is a standard contest or a Mega Contest.
What stays dynamic in the app
Live scores, in-play player stats and late team-news changes are surfaced only inside the first-party app. This profile freezes the snapshot at 2026-08-17 so that the rules and contest shapes can be referenced, but every fixture shown on the contest lobby is rebuilt from the live data feed. Treat the match, score and odds as dynamic.
Mega Contests and the ₹1 entry tier
The snapshot rules publish a ₹1 entry Mega Contest. A friend referral is required to unlock the entry tier; standard contests remain open without a referral. The mega contest uses the same points system as the standard contests - only the prize pool and the entry ladder change. If the ₹1 entry is not visible on your contest lobby, complete a successful referral first, then re-open the lobby.
Points system, salary cap and captain rules
Come uses a points system that scores batting runs, bowling wickets, catches, stumpings and run-outs. Captain picks score 2× and Vice-Captain picks 1.5× the base points. The salary cap is set per match; the maximum number of players from one real team is capped so that "all-stars-from-one-side" lineups are not viable. The full rules and edge-case rulings are inside the first-party app - they are intentionally not republished here so that the live rules and the snapshot rules never disagree.
Frequently asked questions
Can I edit a locked team?
No. The team is frozen the moment the lock window closes, which is typically 5 minutes before the published toss time. Late edits are not supported because the contest has already been priced.
Why was my contest settled with zero points?
Either the player you picked was not in the playing XI, or the match was abandoned without a result. In both cases the contest settles at zero for the affected entries. There is no manual override.
Is the prize pool paid in cash or in-app credit?
The snapshot rules specify cash for paid contests and in-app bonus credit for free contests. Withdrawal rules are documented on the wallet and KYC page.
State eligibility applies
Fantasy contests on Come are subject to state-by-state eligibility in India. The current state map is maintained on is it legal; users in restricted states cannot enter paid contests even if the contest lobby is visible.
